Now that summer is finally here let’s stretch a little. I’ll post book suggestions each week and include new titles as well as some older selections that might interest you. Check back and comment or share your recommendations with others.

I have really been enjoying all the books by David Rosenfelt. He has a series about a lawyer in New Jersey that was recommended several years ago by Janet Evanovich on one of the Today Show Summer Reading segments. I have been hooked on this author ever since. I have been e-mailing the Rosenfelt after I started reading him and he e-mails me when he has a new book coming out. I always pre-order it from Amazon. Oh, BTW, his main character, Andy Carpenter, has a golden retriever named Tara. Rosenfelt's Andy Carpenter books always have a dog that is part of the story line. They're mysteries in a Stephanie Plumb sort-of way. Very enjoyable; very summer reading.
