Released last year, South of Broad is Pat Conroy’s first novel in around 14 years or so. This book is said to have the prose and drama his fans love, which should make a good summer escape.
Just finished "The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner." I really enjoyed it. It made me dislike the Volturi even more than I did when I read the Twilight series. That Jane is one cold-blooded (no pun intended) monster.
